BackCheck announced today the appointment of Dawson Hovey as Account Executive Vice President for the Ottawa Region. In this role he will be creating and furthering existing client relations with Human Resources and Security Professionals in the three levels of government and the private sector.

Mr. Hovey brings a wealth of investigating and management experience to this role including serving for 34 years in the RCMP in senior executive, management, and operational capacities. He has directed complex and sensitive criminal and security investigations and built effective alliances and partnerships among government, policing and private sectors, nationally and internationally. Mr. Hovey has also served as Vice President, Operations for BMCI Investigations & Security Ltd., and Director, Security and Special Projects, SAIC Canada. He has successfully carried out a number of major, strategic assignments for internationally recognized Fortune 500 companies as well as for public sector organizations across the spectrum of government.
